The Winter Capsule Edit (Edition #001)
I’m so excited to share with you the very first edition of my monthly curated closet edit; a guide to share with you some key pieces for the season (or occasion) and how to maximise what you own.
My first curated capsule wardrobe edit, is focused entirely around winter style. Ten pieces, 28 styling permutations and many more possible options by switching up the shoes or styling accessories.
I hope that by signing up to this newsletter, you find ways to get excited about your closet, get imaginative, or create new outfits.
PS. For those that wish to do so, this newsletter is entirely shoppable, with embedded (affiliate) links for each selected piece, at a range of different price points.

The Outfits
Finishing Touches
ACCESORIES | When the coat is the outfit, accessories are key to changing the vibe or mood. A couple of great scarves are a good starting point, as is a solid belt option (which you can use to cinch your coat, too!). If you're building up your closet, start with neutral colours, and a look to add print through a silky scarf (which can be worn in your hair, around your neck, waist, attached to your bag etc).
Grey scarf from Acne Studios | Silk scarf from Arket | Black belt from Andersons
JEWELLERY | A thing I've noticed about styling, is that often in the warmer months we tend to reach for barely there pieces, a tendency usually reflected in our jewellery choices. Winter layering adds volume and offers a solid base for louder accessories; perfect for chunky bold hoops, thick chains, and soft beaded bracelets.
Green beaded necklace via Assembly Label | Gold chain necklace via Pamela Card (10% off with JAMIELEE10) | Chunky hoop earrings via Mejuri
BEAUTY | Speaking to that seasonal shift in beauty, two key changes I notice in my own routine? Deeper, headier fragrances. And richer, more pigmented lipsticks. Two of my current favourites? Commodity's Paper EDP (expressive), and Merit Beauty's Signature Lip in the perfect brick red shade, 'Tiger'.
HANDBAGS | One solid bag option in a neutral colour which is functional, comfortable to carry, and fits your essentials is all you need. For evening, a small velveteen pouch will suffice. My pick for this winter capsule is this crossbody number from Arket (available in the US here).
